I'm a member of the TYPO3 community since more than 10 years. I'm involved in several teams, currently I am a core team member and I'm currently leading the server administration team. I think I have a very good knowledge about our community and know very well what is going on around TYPO3. I have always seen myself as a representative of the TYPO3 community within the TYPO3 Association and would like to continue as such. Since 2005 I have participated in the Steering Committee of the TYPO3 Association. Now I would like to continue my involvement to provide a bit of continuity within the new EAB. |

Why should I be elected? • I strongly believe that TYPO3 is an absolutely great project with an unbelievable community • I'm highly motivated to help TYPO3 keep on growing and getting better and better • I know the project since nearly 9 years and so I hope I have an objective overview which hopefully helps me to make the right decisions • I will try to be a bridge between the TYPO3 community on one site and the TYPO3 Association Board (and the BCC of course too) on the other side. • I want to take over responsibility for the TYPO3 project • I love to work with, at and for TYPO3 - so vote for me :-) |

I candidate for the BCC & the EAB because I want to be part of the best structure that TYPO3 Association is going to build. * I strongly believe that TYPO3 is a great project with a great community * TYPO3 Associations work is great * Yet there is still so much to improve. I want to help doing this * I will listen to the TYPO3 associations members and their concerns * I will try to be a bridge between the TYPO3 association and its stakeholders: community members, users, members and public * Hopefully with my fellow candidates we will help to improve structures and communication around the campaigns of the TYPO3 association Please find more about my thoughts on TYPO3 on my blog. Happy to chat with you! |

In the past three years I have been member of the TYPO3 Association board, member of the TYPO3 marketing team and part of the team who developed the new bylaws that make this voting possible. This way I have broad insights in the daily T3A business, the nitty gritty details and the future work of the new EAB. Many of you might know me from TYPO3 events and as a contact person for issues regarding the TYPO3 Association. Some of you might know me from the T3SAIL events which I organize and others may know me as a proctor for the TYPO3 certification team. I am enjoying all contacts and the exchange with all of you to find solutions in the spirit of the whole community. If you want me for the Expert Advisory Board I would happily take this responsibility and make it happen! |

- I like to get involved in the community and help companies to understand the need in supporting the Open Source development. - I work and develop with TYPO3 since 2001 and know it's development since TYPO3 3.8. - I know both the community and the business world. Capitalism and Richard Stallmann ;-) - I developed in several areas of TYPO3-technology, starting from very Old-School to University FLOW3 proof of concept projects. - I motivate my team of 9 100% TYPO3 developers to interact with the community as much as possible. - I'm also a IT Examination Expert of the Kanton Basel-Land and a Skydive Instructor, so I know to manage different situations. - I'm a Business owner and a Developer… - I respect the work of all existing Association members and try to understand each position as good as I can. -----> TYPO3 Association needs new Energy that is free of frustrating experiences ;-) |

| TYPO3 is great, and I have been using TYPO3 since the early days. It's finally time to support it again with my time. I have loads of experience around TYPO3, not only technically, but also in terms of project needs. I can offer to spend my experience towards the TYPO3 project and make it better for all of us. | |||

My wish is to bring the TYPO3 community to the next level in the following 3 main areas: development, contribution and global spread. I have good understanding of the TYPO3 Association's history and activities, I have insight into marketing TYPO3 and building up a TYPO3 community from scratch in a new country, and with a Software Engineer background holding an executive position, I got good insight in how to match code with business requirements. One of my strengths is good procedural understanding, and as a Swiss living in Asia and working with European web companies, I can offer an outside perspective without missing the inside. I have been involved in building up international teams in different continents including people from Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia, keeping in mind that people are different and maximizing their common goals. I also understand the needs of an organization that mainly works with volunteers and runs on a budget with contributions from sponsors and larger organizations. I acknowledge the achievements made by the TYPO3 Association to day and promise to foster continuity and sustainability. My nomination goes in line with the wish to contribute more substantially to the TYPO3 community in the years to come. |

There are many reasons for my application: · For almost seven years now I work with TYPO3 and I have realized a lot of projects with it. (But this is something we all have done J) It’s my daily work, both as an (Certified TYPO3) integrator and as a project manager. · I used to be an employee for the government of the german state of Rhineland-Palatinate for six years. During that time and after long fights I was able to establish TYPO3 as the standard CMS for Rhineland-Palatinate. Today my focus is still driven by the requirements of governmental needs to achieve more flexibility for TYPO3 in this sector. This includes for example topics like accessibility and security issues. With TYPO3 4.7 this will be a lot better now, but I would like to keep an eye on this development. I would like to give my input to all things concerning public service and keep TYPO3 here on a good track. · I understand not only the system itself, but also the needs of the customer and am able to bridge both sides of the story. · I really like the community, the events and all the TYPO3-people out there! J · TYPO3 is a great product, that makes our lives easier every day. I want to give something back to the community. Now it’s time to help the association more than just being a member. |

Because I use TYPO3 for some years and I love this CMS as my girlfriend (but don't tell her). I have experience as a freelancer and as director of an Italian company. In recent years I have been working to promote TYPO3 in Italy and I'm the creator and organizer of T3Camp Italia: the first event in Italy dedicated solely to TYPO3 (http://www.t3campitalia.it). |
